[Mod] Berry Bushes [bushes]

This is a simple mod which adds different types of bushes and berries. Right click the bushes and you'll collect the berries they carry. Bushes have a chance of respawning berries every 30 server ticks. These bushes spawn in the world as decorations.

The ABM for blueberry bushes is wrong:

very nice mod, but it takes not enough time to grow

I would recomend provide your own leaves textures for bushes instead of reusing default:
  • If default_leaves will be different in size (e.g. 32px and not 16) your bushes berries texture will not fit well.
  • Some game settings changes behavior for default leaves (like waiving or leaves look type). You may want to check if you gonna keep default_leaves (at least from my test opaque leaves + waving leaves makes transparent ground under them).
Personaly I would add (walkable = false) for bush nodes, but its up for you.

Would be good to check if biome exist before registering decorate for it. I'm getting missing desert, savana biomes errors.

I would recommend play bit with berries patterns (make them different between different bushes), add some variaty for berries (berries cluster) size. See my attachement as quick sample just to test my point. Again its up to you.

I too am against GTA like bushes.

You could turn the bushes into a liquid and make it slower to walk through. Like the spider webs in nssm, but with lower viscosity.
