[mod] Vehicles [vehicles]

This mod adds some very fast vehicles, with an api for adding more. Instead of using the keyboard to turn, the vehicles are controlled using the mouse. There are cars, planes, a boat, a tank, a firetruck, and a gun turret.
The cars can increase their speed for a bit if the sneak button is held(nitro), and the tank, jet and gun turret will fire their weapons when sneak is pressed. Also the ute's can carry passengers, and the fewawi (deliberate misspelling) turns on it's lights when right-clicked whilst sneaking, and the fire truck will fire water when sneak is pressed. There are also a few nodes for decoration, and a missile launcher.

There is also a parachute and wings, but these don't work very well at the moment.

seems to be a useful mod

you could turn the rocket around the x axis by animation, so that it looks into the right direction

How well do these drive on natural terrain when you don't have any roads built yet?

I'm considering adding this mod to my collection since it might come in handy.

@Kosmos: Thanks, I'm going to make a few more, but at the moment, fixing the wings is my priority.
@LazerRay: The tank and the utes can climb the between nodes, the rest of the cars need slabs or stairs.

Can you make it if you "kill" one car it drop themself???
Can you make that the cars drive one block high???

Oh, I see what you mean. Thanks for the suggestion.
edit:
The vehicles can now be removed by the owner, by punching them.
I don't plan to change the step-height of the vehicles, since I think it is more realistic for certain cars to only climb slabs/stairs.

See my mods for roads mods, 'pathv7' adds roads and tunnels to mgv7 with halfslab slopes. 'noisegrid' is a lua mapgen full of roads, city grids and tunnels.

Ok, I have added a setting for the stepheight(in init.lua).
I didn't realise that with my earlier attempt to make cars drop, it only works until the owner leaves the game.
I'll try fix that. I've also fixed a problem with placing boats.

maybe the rocket shooting vehicles should take "vehicles:miss" as ammo, it is kind of OP having infinite missiles, and also the jets could maybe shoot bullets if you press space and the bullet shooters take ammo

i would also like a setting to enable crashing your vehicle (crash = false, crash = no_explosion, crash = explosion)
