If you do get a vehicle in a tricky spot, you can punch it whilst driving and it will be dropped.
This isn't working for me. Drove ambulance into water but cannot pick it up.

So far, only seems to be an issue with some vehicles. Ambulance, fire truck, & helicopter I can't pick up.

I just created the plane and worked nice until the rendering lag blocks the movement, so the plane goes, then got back and I couldn't control until the render finished, so when I realized, we felt on water. The plane just goes down and sank in the bottom. It doesn't fly under water, ok, but I can't move ou take back to inventory, so I lost it. :(

Hope you can make the plane go back to the inventory, or be moved by pushing it or something, so I can recover from the bottom of the ocean.

Strangely it works perfectly for me, yet that's on my Technical Survival world specifically and it was with the Plane.

Pretty cool mod man keep it up! but there is one thing steering is just pain, could you fix it so its smooth and fast?

Maybe some reverse thrust for certain aircraft? For planes; brakes, for helicopters; brakes and reverse (Might need to add "can_reverse" to the aircraft properties)?

Seeing strafing for walkers would be nice as well (Might require adding "Walker" or "Mech" API movement type).

I'd also like to see a setting in the Advanced Settings area for enabling specifically the keyboard rather than the mouse honestly (MUST depend on type of vehicle since Q and E cannot be used for strafing vehicles).

EDIT: Vehicle modes would also be nice! For example... Having a mech with the ability to fly (Without walking in the air as if assigned to a plane, on that note: I am probably going overboard).

It's already possible to set vehicles to use the keyboard, using "uses_arrow_keys = true".
Also I'm not sure what you mean about a flying mech, it should already be possible to have one fly, but it would no longer be able to walk.

Also guys I will be working on an update, I just have a lot of other things going on at the moment which make it a little hard to find the time (and motivation) to update this. Models aren't so hard, but I think the API needs to be re-written again, so that the velocity and acceleration are set at only one part of the code.

D00med. I managed to create this small Space Cruiser using your API! I also somewhat plan to release it as an official mod itself (But only if it's approved by you).

10/10 best vehicle API! Maybe it could use a Ceiling (How high it continues to function) or Floor (How low it continues to function) to simulate altitude operation limits for the aircraft though (So that this can truly simulate having Ion Drives, which don't work within the atmosphere from what I have seen.)... Perhaps that would be possible?

Nice :) Sure, I don't mind at all, as long as you give credit if you include the api, but if it's just a dependency you don't have to ask :)
