What I'm saying about the lava is that the mapgen caves will frequently leave lava suspended in mid-air in underworlds. You don't have to do anything about it as long as it doesn't bother you.

@Milan, did you get already the depth settings managed for the different underworld/caves mods? I am highly interested because I like to use all the mods too at the same time in the same world.

well there aren't at the same depth (underworld is pretty deep) so it shouldn't cause much problem. If I remember my test, underworld overrides nether. It sin't unplayable at all. But it might look weird for sure.
