[MOD] Sandwiches! [sandwiches]

Ciao!
This is my first mod, so sorry if there are any errors or english typos.

This mod adds to your minetest game various type of sandwiches,
including vegetarian, bacon, pb&j, bacon and many more
if you have supported mods like BBQ and cucina_vegana!
There are also some other related food like a sweet bread pudding,
made from sandwiches crumbs and jam.

Developed and tested on Minetest 0.4.17, works for 0.4.16 too.

Current version: Current version: v1.7 added cucina_vegana compatibility + more sandwiches
v 1.6 - added bbq compatibility + chicken strips
v 1.5 - added ethereal compatibility and lots of sandwiches
v 1.4 - peanut crop and bacon added
v 1.3 - made moretrees optional
v 1.2 - replaced meat with craftable ham
v 1.1 - fixed some on_use values
v 1.0 - the very first release;

This mod has some dependencies, so be careful with the installation.

Good work

it's annoying not to have made mod dependencies optional.

For example, I can not use your mod on my server because I do not use moretrees ... who is there just for the nutella?

we could use the optional mods using the syntax for example:

This could be a plus for the mod to support MT games (default) and offer other optional recipes ?

in passing, on line 170 of the init.lua

the meat_sandwich it would not be rather the ham_sandwich line 46?

PS: it would be nice if you make a screenshot for the forum, (F12 key in game and you can attach it to the 1st post below the text box in the upload attachment tab and put the link in a tag [IMG] phpbb)

Eh.. i already tried when i created the jam... but then i realized... how do i make peanut butter?
I wonder how will i be able to implements peanuts ...

For now I'll leave it like this, as i need to study, but i AM going to implement it, in a way or another. :)

Why not integrate Mr Peanuts into Mobs Redo?
As it will be enough to hunt him to loot peanuts ...

As a suggestion, my mod cucina_vegana https://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=20001 has peanuts as plants and crops.

Thank you Clyde for the suggestion! I gladly appreciate your interest, but i already made a crop on my own
some time ago, but my time was catch by study, therefor made it impossible to develop the mod furthermore.

I, unfortunately, can't work on the mod right now in order to make it compatible with yours, for the same reason
but i'll look forward to it.

Sad to read, that you can't develop again your mod, but for me it's easy to support your mod, i like your idea of the fastfood and your textures, i'm sure, it will revaluate my "cucina" ;-).

Thank you so much!
btw im currently adding a few recipes and would like to understand how to upgrade the mod into the new minetest
version, but im a noob, so it takes time.
Im also working on a cheese mod, beacuse i dont like the mechanic of smelting the milk in the furnace manually,
but again, it takes time for me, as slow as i am.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks

1.6 and 1.7 coming togheter!
They add support to bbq and cucina_vegana mods, adding a lot more tasty sandwiches!
Choose from BLT, Club sandwich, gourmet with asparagus, jerky sandwich or hamwich!

You made a tasty mod ;)

Note that you don't need any dependency for crafting recipes, not even the optional ones. If a crafting recipe requires an unknown item, it won't be even shown in Unified Inventory. Also, you can ask whether a mod is going to load even if it's not a dependency.

Did you consider that when someone doesn't satisfy one of your optional dependencies, the items will be registered anyway and they will be only uncraftable?

Welp, looks like i screwed this up. Thank you sincerely. We'll welcome Notella next release.

You didn't "screw" anything up... just a very simple and innocent matter.
A quick fix, and you'll be more aware in the future ; )

I'm off to have a Notella and jelly sandwhich...
Personally, I would use "Noyella" : D
