I think you might mean gender not genre.

Oh, you mean well. In my native Spanish language, there is not 'genre' and 'gender', both are the same word :-), so my mistake.

I can catch animals fine but when I try to set them free again, some of them just disappear instantly. What am I doing wrong? Tamagotchi mode is disabled.

What animal for example? Randonmly of the same type? Are they put in a protected node/area? I need a pattern to catch the bug.

The spawn egg is handled by mobs_redo. Another possibility is an error in the Tamagochi mode, but if disabled...

Well, I confirm that bug with naturally spawned mobs. I will investigate it.

-Regression fixed: Lamb changed color to white when game restarts.
-Now lamb runaways a little and moaning when is shaved.

v0.17.5
-Fixed: Captured Mobs did disappear when put in the world.
-New capture mechanics:
To capture a pet (i.e. kitty) you have to own it. But to to capture a no pet (i.e. frog) you can capture it directely.
-To own a pet you have to tame it.
-To tame a pet you have to feed it with its favourite food 5 times. Or lash it in the case of the lion and grizzly.
-You cannot capture the pets of other players by default. To allow to rob pets change the setting 'rob_mobs' in 'petz.conf" file.

-Pony can be tamed.

but petz still disappear

Edit: it works now, not sure what I did wrong before.

Maybe with already old spawned mobs. With new spawned mobs I think the issue is solved.

Hey runs look me and you are making fish that look the same LOL viewtopic.php?f=9&t=22373 I was also thinking of adding a butterfly fish( Tropical Fish ) Good luck.

Wow. This is a simply incredible mod. I love the selective breeding of Ponies, its something I do IRL. :)
Here is a suggestion: add another animal with the breeding capability. For example, the Poison Dart Frog is commonly selectively bred, and there are literally hundreds of varieties today. But another animal like the Zebra ---> Quagga would be really cool too (see the Quagga Project's website). If you are interested in doing this, please PM me. I can help make the textures and give you a bit of inspiration.

-Fixed possible crash? when you give orders to a pet and dead?
-Fixed when you shave a lamb check for room in inventory, if not, drop the wool on the lamb pos.

Remark:
-Only the following pets available: puppy, kitty, lamb, calf, piggy, chicken and ducky.
-You'll need mobkit.
-The same features that the mobs_redo version: tame, capture, feed, tamagochi, orders, eggs, etc.
-Plus exclusive behaviours, items and food for this version.
