I tried to enable the mod but if i want to run the world this happens:"Failed to enable mod "beanstalker-master" as it contains disallowed characters. Only characters [a-z0-9_] are allowed."
Maybe someone can check the code for the problem?
Remove the -master from the folder name.

Thanks for helping captenfalkonion folks. I've gotten very VERY busy and, obviously, haven't messed with minetest in a long time. I hope work will slow down and I can get back to minetest before to long!

Oh, this is rather neat. I had been pondering creating a mod vaguely along these lines, creating ultra-massive "Yggdrasil" trees that the player could climb into the cloudlands, but a magic beanstalk is much easier and more traditional now that I see this. :)

This mod could also be useful for creating access paths into the deeps as well as the heights. I just tried it out with the dfcaverns mod, creating beanstalks that are rooted kilometers underground in the Sunless Sea. I was thinking, would you be amenable to adding the ability to have two different kinds of vine node on a beanstalk, a "root" type for the below-ground part and the regular vine for above-ground? That would make this perfect for what I had in mind, I could create a root node type that's pale and lava-proof.
