You should use Github, it is great for hosting ongoing book projects too.

I don't know how to use Github.
I found missing recipes:
1) Boat - will fix in next version.
2) Screwdriver - will fix in next version.
3) Key - For what the keys are needed?
4) Brushes - don't know how to realize this.
5) Railcar - will fix in next version.
6) TNT - will fix in next version.
7) Drinking glass, glass bottle and others - for what they needed?
8) Corals - For what the corals are needed?

I also will write text and names of nodes and items, because for noobs, text and names of nodes are necessary and it helps to understand game mechanics. Noobs will not understand guide with images only. And it will be difficult to make 428 images of blocks with 32x32 px.

Android compatibility
I know that many players love to play minetest on Android, and I recommend to use WPS office to view this guide on android. At the PC, there is fully compatibility with MS office and LibreOffice. I've keep document structure clear for maximum.
INTL compatibility
I will translate this guide to 3 languages according my new standarts of all documents: english, russian and japanese. [:] is marker of language borders. It might be easy to transform to marker like this: [EN:].
If you're missing your language, please note that I doesn't know another languages. If you're needed the guide on your language CLEARLY, just remove all text on other languages from guide. It will take some time.
For japanese users - document DOES NOT CONTAIN furigana. You can read readings with vocabularies.

Updated!
It is close to finish, and I fixed all errors that I've seen earlier, added some missed craft recipes, and, of course, translated ALL guide on english and japanese (may contain mistakes).
This guide is close to it final version, and marked RC1. I will continue to search mistakes and "holes" and will fix it.
See 1st post.

I suppose this offline guide could be a sort of hand book when playing MTG. It's always good to see more documentation.
My best mods: space_travel, time_travel, and rocket.

Version 5.1.0 has 2 new recipes and 4 new blocks:
Steel bar door and steel bar trapdoor. I will add new recipes in final version of minetest guide.
Dirt and dry dirt not required recipes.
I have a problem with a "stone group", "wood group" and "glass group". It all requires images, and I need to do it.
And I have a translation problem, last time all translations are generated with google translator, if you will find a mistakes, plz e-mail me.

I am too lazy to create a github page, please, explain me how to do that feature that minetest guide can be downloaded from minetest in-game mod menu?

b) Point 3.1 - craft recipes, it's looking too difficult for noobs.
c) Soil expanation. Permafrost, for example, cannot be mined with showel, pickaxe are needed.
d) Screwdriver explanation. - DONE.
e) Experimental: I will add some furigana on japanese texts. - DONE.

This thread won't be moved to Mod Releases, it does not contain a mod.
Also, using DOCX, seriously?

We are a lot of FOSS zealots here, and Microsoft Word is proprietary software, and we don't like proprietary software. Not everyone has access to MS Word or even wants to have it.

I suggest you switch to OpenDocument Format (with LibreOffice or OpenOffice) or at least export to PDF. Those are open formats that are accessible to more people.

Finally, I wonder how you created this document. Did you use scripts to automate anything or how did you do it?

Okay, I'm understood.
1) I've been tested this document with LibreOffice 6.2.xx, the demo screenshots has been taked from them. Also, I've been tested this document with Android WPS Office, version 9.xx, the view the same.
2) To translate to japanese and english, I've been used bing translator. It translates text very well, much better that the google translator (worst yankee translator).
3) To mark kanji furigana, I've used kanji reading map from my other opensource project called JLPT.N2 and JLPT.N3. If you're interesting in this and want to learn japanese, plz, PM me and I will give you link.
If I will save the copy of this guide to *.pdf and *.odt format, will you accept my request?
