[Mod] Greek [greek]

by GreenXenith » Post

Greek

It's all Greek to me.

Image

Provides some Greek architecture and decor nodes. Stuff like polished marble, pillars, tiles, cement render, vases, and whatnot.

This mod is dependency-agnostic. No mods are required to provide content, only crafting recipes. The entire thing is configurable too. Don't have a mod a recipe requires? Bring your own™.

My recommended recipe dependencies: darkage, default, dye

For details on default recipe dependencies, contents, configuration, and implementations, view the README.

This mod is also a drop-in replacement for my old greeknodes mod, should any of you wonder.

Also, 1337th post.

There is cement in basic_materials mod and too in the greek mod.
Maybe, it can be good to add some setting to enable the use of basic materials cement.

Indeed, this is a good idea. You can now use greek.cement = greek:cement,basic_materials:wet_cement to enable use of basic_materials cement as well.

Just installed and received the following:
ModError: Runtime error from mod 'greek' in callback on_mods_loaded(): C:\minetest-5.5.1-win64\bin\..\mods\greek/compat.lua:43:
[greek] Compatibility mode is enabled but no valid marble was found to alias 'greeknodes:marble'.
Please give greek.marble a valid marble item or disable compatibility mode (greek.greeknodes_aliases = false).

stack traceback:

Unfortunately, I'm still kind of new to Minetest so am unsure what "Compatibility mode" is unless it's the mode we're in when not in "Creative mode". I also don't know what "marble item" is. I don't have darkage or techic installed and not sure I want to install them at this point. Are there any other options?

Will set to false in the meantime.
