Salt Desert Biome [saltd] (v0.4)

Simply adds a Salt Desert Biome.
  • Salt Desert Biome is a small biome very close to the coast, a kind of cold desert that produces salt deposits.
  • The dirt here is esterile. You cannot farming.
  • All the trees are salt-burnt, no saplings. And the unique flora here are burnt and thorny bushes.
  • Anyway a good site to get Salt resource.

I had this mod half finished for a long time, I was going to reserve it for my upcoming server, but in the end I released it.

I have seen that a lot of servers and games have a lot of unknown mods, because of exclusivity. Not necessarily proprietary, but "hidden".

What they don't realize is that many minetets servers/games are finished. And all those mods have gone to the shit of oblivion.

That what I never understands. Even Multicraft is very good about sharing stuffs back. I use three of their redistributed mods for Minetest in general. That Matt person really know what's' he doing with simple yet practical mods.

If servers wanna become successful you need to share back to the community at large. Since it will upscale competition and therefore the playerbase to comes with it.
