oh ok :)apercy wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 04:50I was studying how to operate a full rigged sail ship to implement one, but I need time to do it, my job is draining my time and energy now. The next ship (before the sailship) will be something more simple, to test some concepts, but without sailing code. So maybe in one year or 2 we can see the first attempts with a full rigged.
Normally I make planes, is my preferable mods to do.
I have some sympathy with your argument that curved lines somehow crash with MT blocky design. But you have to be reasonable In your demand.j0j0n4th4n wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 00:38Would it be possible to make a blocky model for the blimp?
I think curved lines crash a little with minetest blocky design.
Thank you!!!!!
Well, I first bring the mod into manifestation as a form of self-expression, with my own style. Sometimes I explore one concept or another, but I'm not attracted to doing something fully cubic. Maybe one day I'll try. I don't mean to be rude or anything, it's just the way I work. If for some reason my hyperfocus goes down this more cubic path, maybe something interesting will come up, but I avoid forcing myself.j0j0n4th4n wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 00:38Would it be possible to make a blocky model for the blimp?

Code: Select all

Thank you. I fixed it now, so update it please :)jlamothe wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 17:15I think there's been a breaking change to the underlying airuitls mod that this is built on. Now when I sign in to my server, it crashes with the following error:Code: Select all
AsyncErr: Lua: Runtime error from mod '??' in callback luaentity_Step(): ...est.Minetest/.minetest/mods/steampunk_blimp/entities.lua:239: attempt to perform arithmetic on field 'time_total' (a nil value) stack traceback: ...est.Minetest/.minetest/mods/steampunk_blimp/entities.lua:239: in function <...est.Minetest/.minetest/mods/steampunk_blimp/entities.lua:214>
Interestingly enough, it's still crashing, but with a different message:
Code: Select all
syncErr: Lua: Runtime error from mod 'steampunk_blimp' in callback luaentity_Activate(): ...est.Minetest/.minetest/mods/steampunk_blimp/entities.lua:182: attempt to index global 'ap_airship' (a nil value)
stack traceback:
...est.Minetest/.minetest/mods/steampunk_blimp/entities.lua:182: in function <...est.Minetest/.minetest/mods/steampunk_blimp/entities.lua:140>
It's working now. Thanks. You're awesome!apercy wrote: ↑Thu May 25, 2023 22:36Thank you again, I found the problem now and was a mistake I did. I was improving the blimp to carry 7 passengers, so I was using some of the new code of the another airship Im developing, but I let an unintentional dependency, now fixed
