Also would you be able to use the model from the ship part and turn it into a pirate ship (my brothers request)

I was studying how to operate a full rigged sail ship to implement one, but I need time to do it, my job is draining my time and energy now. The next ship (before the sailship) will be something more simple, to test some concepts, but without sailing code. So maybe in one year or 2 we can see the first attempts with a full rigged.
Normally I make planes, is my preferable mods to do.

Now it have a compass in front of the pilot
And is possible to paint the airship while onboard now

Just a brief mod request but could you make a mod called crusting's and whenever you punch a plane with a block of something e.g diamond block, steel, bronze and e.c.t it adds a visible crusting on the wings and propellers and upgrades its speed and handling. so that if you want to have races you can upgrade your plane with a block of ore.

@0n4th4n - My hint: The easiest and best solution to meet this requirement would be to not install this mod and others from that apparent mod family.

I have some sympathy with your argument that curved lines somehow crash with MT blocky design. But you have to be reasonable In your demand.

One cannot expect to get everything on one plate without at least some payoff. One has to deside between blocky design against some flexibility. IMO such graphically very nicely designed and detailed models become almost impossible if you would strictly stick to blocks and block dimensions.

To blimp or not to blimp may be the question, I may say. You are free to choose.

Last not least my sincere appreciation to @apercy and this well formed family of aeronautic devices and this steampunk blimp in particular.

Well, I first bring the mod into manifestation as a form of self-expression, with my own style. Sometimes I explore one concept or another, but I'm not attracted to doing something fully cubic. Maybe one day I'll try. I don't mean to be rude or anything, it's just the way I work. If for some reason my hyperfocus goes down this more cubic path, maybe something interesting will come up, but I avoid forcing myself.

I think there's been a breaking change to the underlying airuitls mod that this is built on. Now when I sign in to my server, it crashes with the following error:

Interestingly enough, it's still crashing, but with a different message:

Actually, I think it's the error I originally saw (but didn't think at the time to post) when it first crashed. It gives the other error I posted on subsequent crashes... probably because it corrupts the game data.

I've done some more digging and am now pretty certain that the problem is not the airutils package. I've rolled my server back to its last working state, and it works fine if I update every other mod *except* steampunk blimp, but crashes as above when I do update the steampunk blimp mod. My worry is that there's some conflict going on between this mod and some random other mod I have installed.

P.S.: Is there a git repository somewhere with a bug tracker, or is posting on the forum the way to do this?

Thank you again, I found the problem now and was a mistake I did. I was improving the blimp to carry 7 passengers, so I was using some of the new code of the another airship Im developing, but I let an unintentional dependency, now fixed
