Instead of manually going through half a dozen chests, sort your inventory away at the press of button.

What it says on the tin. This mod allows you to quickly sort out your inventory content to nearby containers, provided the container contains at least one of the item you want to store away. It even shows a fancy display of the items moving from you to the container!
But wait. What if you don't want all your torches/planks/etc.. sorted away every time? Have no fear, slot configuration is here!
You can select which inventory slots are 'locked'. Items from locked slots never get sorted away.
This does come with the caveat that you need to keep the items in specific slots, but that's the best I can offer you.
By default the storage distance is 2 nodes, but that can be easily changed in the settings.
Also in the settings, it's possible to disable the visual display of the items moving from the player to the node, if you don't want it for some reason.
As for compatibility, this mods tries to store items to all nodes with the 'storage' group. ... Which means absolutely nothing with how under utilized groups are in general.
I did explicitly add compatibility to MTGs chests though and feel free to request compatibility for other mods.
And lastly, this mod uses sfinv to make it's functionality accessible, but in case that isn't an option for any reason you can also use it through the '/auto_storage' chat command.
