It has been 4 or 5 days that no one post any mods! C'MON MODDERS! XD

Its second week of year everyone has to work again ;-)

btw I've at least released a new version of animals ;-) and some c++ patches .. but I assume celeron has to work too ;-)

Im no modder myself but i have some ideas for other modders to take into consideration in case they need ideas :)

* furniture - beds chairs tables clay pots (for decoration unless someone could find a way to get the beds/chairs to work)
* miner hat - for those pesky nights without torches -_-
* weather - maybe rain/lightning/snow (probably more of a development then a mod)
* chef - cake fish pasta foodcraft :o
* trees - more trees (like palm trees?)
* lasers - maybe different lasers.. some may just be for the look while others cut through stone
* vines - decorative to put against the wall of maybe a garden
* tent/tepee - i have no idea how this would work, but itd be cool to make a tent for the night xD
* trampoline - because who doesnt want one in their backyard
* fossil - challenge to see who can find them all (swords bones tools)
* future - stuff from the future (time machine, spaceship)
* maps/minimap - we could all use one xD (again probably in development)
* shelves - to hold all our goods :)
* pressureplate/dispenser - for adventure maps/home protection
* pet mod - even if the pet isnt 3d itd seem like a good idea
* weapons - battle hammer, battle axe, lightsabers, baseball bat, chainsaw
* bugs - for collections.. maybe they could be found by digging certain stone?
* fog/gas - a brick like clouds that you could harvest/craft somehow

Im sure theres more ideas out there but theres are a few to throw out :)

The problem is that most of these ideas would require code changes to work. There are only a small number of model types to make things and all of them are build on the size of a single node. You can make a lot with entities but they have limitations, such as the player walking through them.

Doable:
* chef
* trees
* lasers (for aesthetics, not functional)
* vines
* tent (not functional)
* fossil
* future (so long as they don't work)
* shelves (just a chest with a different texture)
* dispenser (but no way to power it--maybe right-click or standing in front of it?)
* pet mod (see animals, but I'm not sure you could have it follow you)
* weapons
* bugs (this could be like animals, by the way)

The rest would require either engine changes or some pretty hackish implementations.

And I have a shitload of school work to do, so don't look at me :)

wow wow wow ..tents not functional...use the tree spawn mechanics and have a tent pack that you put on the ground..on right click it turns into a full tent :D

I of course meant that the tents wouldn't actually allow you to fast-forward. The original post suggested that they would be like beds in Minecraft. They would definitely be placeable.
