So, here we are again with another one of my mods:

I PRESENT:

COTTON!

89 colours, running straight from Unified Dyes!

WARNING:

THIS MOD CONTAINS THE ITEMS FOUND IN DEPENDS.TXT

FLOWERS AND UNIFIED DYES ARE IN HERE, THEY MAY NOT REFLECT THE CURRENT VERSION, AND MAY NOT WORK WITH YOUR CURRENT VERSION OF MINETEST / AND OR OTHER MODS.

THIS MOD WILL NOT OVERWRITE THE OLD WOOL MOD 16/32, NOR WILL IT KILL YOUR FLOWERS.

Got it in the neck from Vanessa, WTFPL my mod + textures. Other mods contained are as stated.

Changes:

23/7/12 Added cotton on its own, no other mods in the zipball.
17/7/12 Added some more colours, brining the mod in sync with Unified Dyes, which is also contained.
15/7/12 Fixed being unable to craft hues, instead of shades.

Please move the license into the text of the post, and indicate to which parts it applies. Also, could you please rewrite the subject? Since this is a mod pack, make it something like "[Modpack] Cotton [version]". Thanks!

can you pls tell me whats the difference between the "modding general" and "mod releases"

due to my understandig, in modding general we dont need license, cause its a general discussion of modding. as soon as somebody has a full release, of course then it needs the information you ask for.

i always get a bit mixed up, cause i can see released mods in this section too... maybe somebody can move them to the "mod releases" part of the forum. would help an old man like me ...*gg*

Well the Modding General section is indeed for discussion - primarily regarding development and debugging of mods. Mod Releases is intended for mods that have reached a stable, usable state and which contain a proper license, textures, etc.

When a person wants to write and release a mod, the discussion about it should start here in Modding General. Once the author thinks the mod is ready, he or she just needs to add the required info to the first post and subject line (if it isn't already present), as per the guidelines celeron55 established for the Releases section, and then ask in the "Move Requests" thread.

Jordach: A new version of Unifieddyes is out - now with 89 colors (I added "light" shades, 150% brightness over the "full" shades; no low-saturation versions of these, it didn't seem necessary). A new template and gentextures.sh script have also been released to go with it.

Please check it out and let me know if there are any problems with it.

Noticed... Now i get errors again, also in the latest commit version. Is the download link here the latest version? I notice it's missing cotton node.

Is the original flowers mod okey to use?

Ok it's not. But why isn't it working. I just keep getting errors on your newest version. The previous one works.

the newest version of this mod does not work with the newest version of the ud mod
this mod also uses old images for the inventory
