Wow. Very nice :) Would be good if it supported my camo mod one-way-glass.

Great! That makes some window elements far more convincing. Nice to see that the engine now supports such a drawtype. Hope the mod gets installed on servers.
So all it takes to use it is drawtype glasslike_framed and some special tiles for the middle parts? Neat. Wonder what other nice new features are hidden in the new version of MT :-)

Though this is a simple feature, it is also a good feature. I hope this has a future.

Will this cause massive amounts of lag on already-made maps?
For example if there is already glass there, will it be changed or is it only on place?
Could i make it change all the glass in the map?

It automatically changes all of the glass in the map. It doesn't replace nodes, from what I could tell it just changes the drawtype for all of the glass nodes. I put it on my server and didn't notice any negative affects on performance.
