Slot machine

Could somebody create a slot machine like mod? I'm thinking a slot machine that u can open it, an type in the amount of money you wish to gamble. Then when u hit OK or Proceed, it will give u diores (diamonds, steel, mese crystals etc.....) And u can also get money instead of ores, or ore WITH money maybe? But it would be cool to risk your money for things. The more money u enter, the better prize and amount of it you can get. Maybe add a sound effect to it too?

I plan on making a gambling/casino mod that will include slot machines, but no telling when that will be.

The slot machine's models would probably have to be meshes, for one thing. Currently, mesh nodes are not supported, only nodebox models.

True, but that doesn't mean you have to be mean about it. Just say that he should post it in the mod ideas topic, and nothing else. Would you like to be treated like that if you were new to the forums/minetest?

Siding with a famous person who is a jerk to people is plain wrong without listening to the other side, which also explains why the US isn't Land of the Free anymore.That's why the PRISM Program exists, not to mention the US. Gov. can retract info and incriminate anyone.

Siding with PilzAdam just because he's a core dev and should be listened to at all costs, is well, just being misled. I usually ignore the "Member" or "Developer" part, except for moderators. You should form your own opinion and not copy someone elses.

Okay, let me rephrase that. There is topic for mod ideas, so PilzAdam is right.

That's side stepping the issue that myself and others had with PilzAdam's response.

He was needlessly hostile in his reply. That's why he was getting some flak.

I'm also quite happy with the others that are pushing for a more open and friendly community. I'm sure that attitude will bring in more fans of Minetest.
