LogoSkyBlock!
LogoSkyBlock!
Well, you know how Minecraft has it's own SkyBlock?
Well, I recreated the Logo from BlockMen's wallpaper, which means you now can play SkyBlock on the Minetest Icon (Look at the icon for minetest_game)
Screenshot:
Requirements:
0.4.7 Minetest Game
0.4.7 (DUH!)
Notes:
Coal can be made by putting a tree into a furnace: this will NOT WORK in the normal minetest_game.
If you fall off the Landmass, use /home to bring yourself back up onto the island.
You can also use /sethome to change the position.
There is a hidden chest containing a lava block, cotton + wheat seeds, a shovel, pickaxe and a axe. (These are wooden.)
If you're trying to find the secret chest, it's literally right under your spawn, which is in that cave buried in dirt.

For people falling off the island: http://sfan5.dyndns.org/upload/LogoSkyBlock1.0.3.zip
It adds a little bit of code that spawns you on the island. (By EverGreen, WTFPL.)
If you fall off you CAN USE and to change the location.

And very nice idea Jordach!
Try this code:
Code: Select all
[h]This is awesome[/h]
This is awesome
I downloaded this and played with it a little in singleplayer and I thought it was fun. I think if I used my personal xtras mod on it it would be a little better and I would like more goals/islands to reach for more stuff. A way to generate dirt would be nice as well.
In case your wondering, my xtras mod is just a little code that redefines dirt, dirt with footsteps, dirt with grass, stone and desert stone so that they have a chance to drop extra stuff when dug. Dirt nodes have a chance to drop clay because the dirt where I live has a high concentration of clay in it so I kind of liked that idea. Also I figured that sometimes you can find a little ore in a regular stone so I made stone and desert stone have a small chance of dropping ore or mese or diamond. a VERY small chance of mese or diamond. I got the idea from one of the game modes that someone created that did something similar with stone but I didn't want a game mode, I just wanted a mod that I could turn on or off at will and could add to any game world without needing to worry about generation and such.
EDIT: As an aside, I haven't downloaded or tried the game mode that has the stone drops feature. I just liked the one idea and ran with it.

This is awesome and has everything you need to survive indefinitely.
Sometimes, it's harder to think up a mod than it is to create it.

It doesn't matter if it is in headers or not. Capslock is always read as shouting...PilzAdam wrote:Since when is capslock in headers shouting?BlockMen wrote:^Jordach wrote:IT DEFINITELY WORKS.
