The Pixelbox Fun Pack has been Updated. Grass colors are a bit different now. The Side Grass has changed, as well as the hues of Papyrus, Bronze Ingot/Block, and the Dry Shrub is different looking.

Download the Updated Fun Pack on the first post.

This supports zero mods, and it doesn't even cover all the minetest 0.4.9 textures. (in other words, it's outdated)

But it also covers mods that do not exist yet. This way it is way ahead of it's time.

Sorry to say there's going to be a small hiccup for a while since Ubuntu One is shutting down service. I'll either have to go with Dropbox, Google Drive, or some other alternative service to hold my texture packs. So stay tight, I'll shop around for something that fits. If anyone has any suggestions, please leave a comment.

To this day I'm still adding new textures to PixelBOX, I'm a little worried if MineToon will catch up to it.

Thanks for all your patience, as you all may notice I'm not the most prioritized person. I feel I need to clean up ad organize a lot more. Fixing my schedule will be a good start.

Why not using the attachments the forum offers?

Did you know that Freeminer uses this texture pack? It really does make that fork of Minetest stand out.

Yes, I was asked months ago if I would allow it.
Casimir wrote:Why not using the attachments the forum offers?
Because I feel I should have a spare link elsewhere in case this forum went kabloowy. Also, I believe it only allowed one attachment per post.

It allows infinite attachments, up until someone tells the mods about abuse of said feature.

What is the license of this texture pack? I am considering utilizing it in asietest_game.

The license for PixelBOX is WTFPL.

Have you ever considered supporting moreblocks and moreores? They do get a fair amount of usage.

I have, but I tend to get side tracked.

I see. Well, considering your tastes, you might find making textures for the following mod to be enjoyable:
viewtopic.php?p=140991#p140991
Many textures seem to be recolors of default Minetest textures, so these would be the ones where new textures would be the most useful.

I used your textures to make ones that support the grasses of the ethereal mod, and they are under the same license as the originals (WTFPL.) You can find them in the .zip file below. Please, do try them out. If you like them, you can include them in PixelBOX.

[16x] PixelBOX textures for Ethereal mod

by TenPlus1 » Post

Inocudom: some of the texture names were changed in the latest 1.07 version of Ethereal so here's a new .zip file containing the renamed textures which I compressed for ya too :)

Great! Now how do I install it? I'm using linux and have no idea where the texturepack folder is.
Terra, Aqua, Ignus, Air, Ather, and Incognitus.

Inside your home directory is .minetest which should contain a textures folder where the pixelbox folder will be placed... the ethereal additions will be unpacked into the pixelbox folder to join the other textures...
