Update: build #20140601-1958, some guy suggested I update the streets mod, so if it has problems, blame him ;-)

Recursive edit of this edit: build #20140601-2125 reverted streets to its previous state due to a screwup on my part :-)

Although we can agree that it wasn't a bug, I have to say that my StreetsMod seems to need one obligatory crash with each update ^^

EDIT: build #20140614-1726, updated pipeworks.

EDIT #2: build #20140614-1743, made currency mod not give "basic income" to pipeworks' nodebreakers.

EDIT #3: build #20140614-1836, made currency mod's Minegeld notes craftable into bundles of random notes, which can then be burned as fuel (9 notes -> 1 bundle, burns as fast as leaves).

EDIT #4: build #20140614-2243, updated moretrees mod.

got always an error's using this enviroment. Using the minetest-0.4.9-9675d9e-win32 build, all mods are loaded as i can see in the log. is there anything i can do ?

I'm afraid this error indicates a problem not with the game, but with your OS, hardware, or the engine. FBO I think means FrameBuffer Object, so I would hazard a guess that you don't have enough video memory on your GPU to do whatever it is you're doing.

This game type is not fickle, tkerwel. You need to have a decent CPU, decent RAM, and a decent GPU to play it. My computer has 4GB of RAM, a GeForce GT 610 graphics card with 2GB of its own, and an AMD CPU with 4 cores. Sometimes, that isn't good enough (should have gotten a CPU with at least 8 cores and 8GB of RAM.)

Well lots of RAM and many cores is helpful and all :-) but I would guess that this game should do fine with 1-2 GB of RAM, 2 fairly fast cores, and a reasonably good GPU.

The engine really can't use more than 2 cores, not even for the map generator, under normal circumstances. Sometimes the map generator can use more than 2 cores, rarely, but using that mode is buggy and doesn't really speed things up that much. More RAM isn't too useful in Minetest unless you also run a high-resolution texture pack that supports a substantial part of this game, such as HDX. A good GPU almost always helps, regardless.

I actually have fairly similar specs. I have 4GB of ram, a Radeon 7750 GPU and an
AMD FX-4300 quad core cpu (clocked at 3.8 ghz) and it does great with almost everything I throw at it.

Hmm I wonder if I even should try to run minetest with that game on my PC :3 (64 MB shared graphic memory)

just to spread the info: i have 4 more computers at home, it runs on all this computers. only on this one (sharedgraphic) i got that mistake. so everything is okay ;-)

It looks like it can do much for decorating homes, but it is old and does not work well with the current Minetest version.

i am sorry, but in the moment real life dont give me the time to do the changes which are needed. i just did that for my small one, cause he wants to have certain things in minetest. now he is more into blockworld and dont bother me for new stuff .. ;-)

anyway here are a lot of good mods which are also very good for decoration. and dreambuilder is one of my favorites. special the homedecor from VanessaE.
