[Mod] [Git] goldtouch

You must give yourself the 'midas' privilege in order to have goldtouch. After that you use the command /goldtouch <name>. Then any blocks you walk on turn into gold. Works in the latest dev

That is a really nice mod you got there =)

Your directory structure is wrong, you should put the mod files directly in the Git repository, not in another directory.

Love the history behind this mod, may look at seeing how hard it is to pop the gold over to gravel to make pathways while walking... Though I'd rather see that effect on a server, if people walk the same X blocks they "wear" away to gravel.

An additional feature, to generate footsteps would be cool. (Which disappear after a time)

The Mineguild server had that "feature": Blocks you stood on for too long turned into a not particulary nice block. It's rather annoying, especially for people who love to build.

This is neat, and it would be very easy to customize to suit individual needs.

@kerikter4of7: Not a bad idea, but why gravel? I usually use much more... solid nodes for roadways.

@Krock: There actually is a block registered in the base game, default:dirt_with_grass_footstep. Maybe there's something behind it?
Nam ex spatio, omnes res venire possunt.
Why let the ground limit you when you can reach for the sky?
Back to college now, yay for sophomore year schedules. :P
