Node Box Editor 0.7, coming soon.
That is a nice idea! Even if I'd also have liked a way to create your own node boxes in-world, so people could combine materials into shapes and forms of their choice.

Nice... very nice! Mapgens that generate such structures would be one great thing to see around the servers, and eventually in the newly unfrozen minetest_game. Good biomes are the first thing needed to spice up the default world!

Beautiful pictures of an inviting landscape.
Not quite sure there is such a thing as "a parthenon" but american english may differ from the english I learned ;-)
I do know and have visited, the big ancient temple on the Acropolis of Athens known as "the Parthenon" though (of which there may be a replica in Nashville). From the usage of the word I have heard from north americans by now I guess any building with elements in classic greek style may be called a parthenon. (Is the White House a parthenon?) Actually I havn't a clue what to call the buildings in your picture. Detached porches or gazebos? They can't be temples because the temple part such as naos or let alone cella are missing. Hm, Tetrastyle-Dipteral-porch maybe? Bah, parthenon sounds nicer . . . although that does originally mean "unmarried womens chamber" now I wonder, a chamber has walls doesn't it so - no chambers no ... oh well who knows how heavens work

@rubenwardy: I too am looking forward to the new Node Box Editor. :)

@twoelk: Aye, you've got a point there... For now I'll just say "Parthenon-esque buildings" until I research what that specific architecture is called. :P

Also, new screenshot:

Healing Springs! Stand in them to recover 4 hearts every 20 seconds. Not quite ready to push the changes though, have some bugs still. (Like the bottom of the lakes not getting stripped from their grass...) I also was dissatisfied with the grass color before, so I'm experimenting with this new, darker grass. Seems to add some needed contrast...

I like the previous grass better, it illustrates that the heaven biome is something different than those on the surface. The healing spring could look good too with a light blue colour and high transparency. That would seem more refreshing.

You could call your pavilions style "classic greek" or "classic antiquity" as Parthenon only refers to that one building.

Just a couple of days ago, I installed Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon onto my computer, dual-boot-with-Windows-7 style. Not long after, I used Callinou's compiling script to compile Minetest into Linux Mint. Above is the first screenshot I ever took within that build. To state the obvious, the forest mapgen by Gael de Sailly (yes, I am promoting this again, for it does not suck) and the mods homedecor-modpack and moretrees were used at the time.

Well, you're in luck about the grass color, since I "accidentally" forgot to delete the old textures and rename the new ones to be the old name. (The current texture name is "skylands_heaven_grass2.png" when it shouldn't have the 2.) So if you want to have the old texture, just open nodes.lua, use Ctrl+F and search for "heaven", find the "skylands:heaven_grass" node def, and delete the 2's in the texture names. I also recommend changing the dirt texture to "default_dirt.png", as there is too much contrast between the deep soil and the original grass color.

I really don't know what to do with the springs... I went with yellow because of Kid Icarus: Uprising, lol. I was considering a wine red color, and possibly clear, almost blue, as potential colors, but I threw the latter out because it would be too close to paramat's fresh water. If enough people want it though, I will change it.

My current build on the side of a very large mountain.

mapgen: indev

Due to the quantity of blocks in visible vertical elevation, the file is rather large.
