On anther day In another world,
created by https://github.com/Sokomine/mg_villages,
as I was wandering the landscape.........
attracted by that strange pinnacle I moved in closer.
Now what is that little spec of light in that cave to the right?
OH!
Indeed a hidden village
A complete relative large village hidden in a crater with a cave river as only entrance.

Renovation Project
Noah's Hill House - Front 1, Before
This hill-house was originally built by noahdood2613. It was a simple, wooden rectangular house with a steel door. The house was covered entirely with dirt, including the steel door, in an attempt to camouflage it. It's perfectly rectangular shape gave it away as it stood-out among the gentle, rolling hills of Kentro Province.
Noah's Hill House - Front 1, After
The overall dimensions and wood structure were kept. I built-up the dirt roof in to an irregular-shaped mound to better fit with the surrounding landscape. I also added a stonebrick chimney, topped with a chimney_top from my updated, fork of Semmet9's "Fake Fire" mod. (If you would like to see the new, drifting smoke for yourself, come visit our Minetest server at adress: linuxgaming.us, port: 30000)

Why let the ground limit you when you can reach for the sky?
Back to college now, yay for sophomore year schedules. :P

Beautiful mesa and canyon.
Re: Post your screenshots!
Wath you think abouth the design off the menue? Is it ok or should i take an other design?
The faces at the header are from a wallpaper that have no copyrigths and i have modified it
http://www.scenicreflections.com/media/ ... Wallpaper/
That should give no licensesproblems?

Re: Post your screenshots!
It doesn't work like that. If no copyright information is present, then you have no right to modify and distribute. On top of that, it looks just bad. I'd suggest applying some filter to the Minetest logo, then adding the game name below it.Glünggi wrote:

@Calinou
ok... thank you.. i think i understand.. good that i had ask before i post the game.
This licenses makes my confusing... i just wanna have some fun :D
The reason for this design is because my game is a terraformingame ..and there is a figth with water against lava... so this images should symbolise this figth.

Blender + Cycles from Minetest export!
First ever I believe :)
In case someone is not following, viewtopic.php?f=3&t=9923 has given us 3 independent tools to export from Minetest to mesh!
sfan5's mt2obj converter (used on screenshot, preserves material data): https://github.com/sfan5/mt2obj
prestidigitator's converter (please try!): viewtopic.php?t=9948
aldobr's converter (please try!): viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9949
POST YOUR RENDERS!
The process is tedious due to amount of object data software has to push through. This scene weights 192 MB, and pushing that data back and forth in program takes considerable amount of time. Fortunately it does not influence viewport performance much, so performing operations on the mesh is possible, but operations such as save or preparation for rendering take considerable amounts of time (i72550K, 16GB RAM, GF9500GT)
