This mod is licensed under the MIT license, but the textures and node definitions can be found under the WTFPL, as part of the mo_stones mod, here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=8871
There are already some mods which add those (in particular, darkage and technic). Having more stone types couldn't hurt though. The chalk might have fossils in it occasionally.
This is just a quick mod which I made as a demo for VCNlib, so I didn't think too much about the stone types at the time.
I'm currently working on an update to VCNlib though, after which I may re-do this mod and make it more complete.
The main difference between the stones in those mods and this one is that these stone types generate in much larger pockets (200^3 rather than 15-30^3), so I may change the stone types to be more complimentary to the generation of those mods; use this mod to generate large areas of default:stone like stones, and leave the more contrasting ones to the pocket generation of those mods.
