It sounds to me like 3darmor is redefining that function, as Homedecor just...er....works :-)

Actually wait on that. Try pulling homedecor again. I've made a change there that might fix it.

Very strange, because I run the full homedecor modpack and the full 3darmor modpack on one of my servers without issue.

yeah, I have run them together on my daughter's server for a while, and this just came up when I built a new remote server from scratch and kept getting mystery server crashes. Ho hum, I will have a read through Stu's code and see if I can see anything. My little girl and her friends will have to live without armor for a while - HomeDecor is more important (It's a tiny little creative server).

Thanks again ;-)

Ah ha, The issue appears to be I was tracking the multiskin branch of 3d Armour (in order to have clothing mod working). The master branch is fully compatible ;-)

Just wanted to clarify for anyone reading this thread, the problem is not with the code in Vanessa's excellent mod ;-)

No, "recommended" mods are not strictly necessary. Rather, they add stuff that Homedecor can use in some way.

Maybe to you :)
You have every right to modify your copy and make it to your exact specifications. I say go for it rather then being harsh without specific details of the hard work of the creators.

See here: http://digitalaudioconcepts.com/vanessa ... guide.html, or use a mod with a crafting guide, I highly recommend unified_inventory.

The top post here says the mod requires 0.4.11, but I was getting a crash in the homedecor init.lua until I upgraded to 0.4.13 (to resolve a different crash).

Hello VanessaE.

I'm curious about how to create shapes like the toilet, or tvs, and their textures.... can you point me to any software or tutorial to do something like that?

thanks

You can also get free models from sites likehttp://archive3d.net and just scale them to the right size for minetest using blender.
Many of my mods are now a part of Minetest-mods. A place where you know they are maintained!

A list of my mods can be found here

Update your minetest engine - the one you're using is too old to recognize the table.copy() function.

This is by far the BEST mod I have come across. I've been playing in singleplayer/private multiplayer for a long time and each time I get bored with the same--a bed, maybe a bookshelf or two, a chest, and a furnace. You only need one room at most, no need for a bathroom or a kitchen or dining room. But since I found this there seems like there is no end to the things I can craft! :D (And I can make bigger houses that can be decorated!)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

I like the range of materials in this mod, but I don't like the lack of being able to use almost everything...
