Re: What hardware is everybody running?
I mostly use my Asus netbook with Windows 8.1, 2.16ghz processor and 2gb RAM. I also have a 2008 laptop with dual boot Windows 7 and Linux Mint. Minetest is installed on both of those. It's barely passable with all of the fancy graphics turned off. I also installed it on my wife's Windows 10 computer, but Windows slows it down sporadically with background processes. I hate Windows 10. My brother has a Linux Mint desktop computer with a great graphics card, and that thing plays Minetest smoothly with the "R" view always on. I'm a little jealous of that.

My thinkpad has an intel core i5 and 4GB of RAM
Dont really know all the details of that but
My desktop
amd fx-4300
nvidia gt610
4GB RAM
MSI 970 motherboard
Some microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse set. I'm surprised that its actually functional, if only they could do the same with its oS.

Re: What hardware is everybody running?
Correct I overclocked it :)
I am not just playing Minetest with that system. I am also using Blender, a lot of VM testing and gaming in general. Will buy a new graphics card soon though ^^
And for the 10TB space on my HDD, steam and playonlinux already use 2TB, I usually convert my DVD movies to isos and the VMs also need some space ;)

Re: What hardware is everybody running?
A lot oft Linux users around here.
My system:
Ubuntu 16.04
AMD FX-6300
8GB Ram
Currently Nvidia GT730, but normally GTX750. But I send back this card for repair and I think about a Radeon RX 480 or maybe a smaller version, if available

Re: What hardware is everybody running?
My new PC build is complete, but the graphics card (a GeForce GTX 1080) hasn't arrived yet.
By the way, the IGP runs games surprisingly well, Minetest runs at 40-60 FPS with everything maxed out in fullscreen, for example.
- CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K
- MB: MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon
- RAM: 32 GB DDR4, Corsair Vengeance LPX
- HSF: be quiet! Dark Rock 3
- Thermal paste: Arctic MX4
- SSD: Samsung 850 EVO, 1 TB
- GPU: Intel HD 530 (currently, will be Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 Gaming in the completed build)
- Case: Fractal Design Define R5
- PSU: be quiet! Pure Power 9 600W

Re: What hardware is everybody running?
I found Minetest while searching for phone alternative to Minecraft when my laptop which have heavily modded Minecraft without legit Minecraft account have some problem and I don't have money to send the laptop for repair. (I don't have legit Minecraft account because it's too expensive.)
So yeah, I'm playing Minetest on my phone for this moment. My phone is the hardware I'm running.
