[Mod] Brilliant Blocks [1.1] [brillantblocks]

Brilliant Mod is a mod witch adds brilliant blocks (dirt, stone, sand and glass). They iluminate a bit more than torches.

Did you try it out?

Moreblocks glowglass has a shapeless recipe (at least the latest version), meaning the torch and glass can be placed anywhere. The recipe of brilliant glass is prescribed. If they conflict, shapeless recipes will cause a lot of conflicts.

Topywo no I didn't I admit that. I'd still consider each recipe to have it's own unique configuration. glowglass is glass on top of the torch. This one could be torch on top of the glass. And you solve that. I like how OdnetninI did it as well.

Also I would consider that these recipes ought to be shapeless as well. Frankly I'd consider any 2 or 3 block recipes to be shapeless. Also is it possible to make slabs and stairs and other partial blocks from them?

I agree with the idea of an unique configuration, unless it would be possible to 'choose' which craft result you want with conflicting recipes.

Yesterday I tried it out a bit. The loading of the mods is not alphabetical (I changed brilliant_blocks in xbrilliant_blocks) (maybe the order depends on the memory allocation, idk). In both cases I couldn't build moreblocks glowglass. Then I removed shapeless from glowgass and add it to brilliant blocks. Then I could only build glowglass. Later I didn't manage to get a 'fixed' recipe for brilliant blocks. Maybe that's only possible with crafting that requires a vertical or horizontal row of 3 items. Then I got tired of trying stuff out and lack of sleep :-) Maybe I'll look into it further another time. I could try to find out the theory or just do some practical tests.

link in OP is broken because they deleted their git repo, but the dropbox link seems to work. Not sure if this mod still will work on a recent minetest build, as I didn't test that at all.
