Hahaha, I feel very sorry for you. So much hate for not using GitHub. Almost 2 PAGES just about GitHub and almost no post about the game.

So I think it is about time to give some more random assorted comments about this game:

First of all, this is definitely one of the better Minetest Game forks.

The item entities and the “item magnet” is very well implemented, it feels very smooth. Much better than I have seen in other subgames.
Mobs are also very clean but a bit easy to defeat. I like the death animation.
I don't like the way mushroom farming works (with mushroom spores), because it involves a lot of manual work. In Minetest Game, the spores have been removed and mushrooms now spread naturally. I think this was the correct decision.
Weather is clean and simple.
Ambience done very well, with sound effects and music. But I don't like the bird sounds, they are often way too loud.
Shift-clicking in inventories still doesn't work.
It's nice that there are so many decorative blocks around lapis lazuli but I feel the other colors are a bit underrepresented in this game.
Creative inventory is quite nice but buggy.

The game seems to be rather slow and lag a lot. Formspecs are not responsive, items sometimes don't follow me immediately, blocks don't drop after digging, etc. Maybe there is something in the game which causes too much CPU load for no reason. It seems to happen more likely near unloaded areas, so it may be the mapgen.

Bugs:
- You can't place some items into item frames: Painting
- Some items can be placed into item frames, but they look wrong/invisible inside: Item frame, lever (probably many other wallmounted things)
- Almost all blocks from xdecor have a bug in that they let light shine through. For example: Stone tile, runestone
- If you try to throw out an item stack from the inventory (hold item stack in inventory menu and click on the outside), you only drop 1 item

Oddities in the game:
- There are two cobweb nodes
- There are two crafting tables (according to creative inventory). Suggestion: I would remove the xdecor crafting table, it has the wrong inventory size and formspec style anyway
- I have no idea how the lever works
- Nice for having mese pick with light, but oddly, there is no diamond pick equivalent

much love, thanks for githubbing man! i think its much better that way too, i tend to skip everything that isnt githubed because github is so comfortable to use for cloning etc that i dont like just donwloading the zip... hopefully you still are motivated to work on this subgame. im relatively new here, but i think ive seen a nether mod, perhaps you can implement that one?

well for one i really like the music and the sfx. good choice, though at times a bit weird to hear birds way down in a cave and the bats being quite aggressive sounding, though there are no bats in sight.
mmh, ill make a pro con list:
PROS:
music. love it, good choice, though when playing longer surely gets a bit repetitive.
SFX, like for example the breathing in when emerging from water
ambient sounds, adds really well to an eery feeling, yet exciting and interesting, feels quite immersive
mines and chests to explore! really nice
torches light up when in hand
cutting function of workbench, really useful, however i couldnt figure out how to use the repair function
textures, it looks really nice
getting wool from hitting sheep is a nice idea
animations for digging are nice

CONS:
item pickup was kinda laggy, as if playing with very bad connection
getting out of water is a bit difficult (switched to fly mode instead)
also sometimes hitting mobs felt a bit laggy

now for some neutral points:
you like lava dont you? :D theres huuuge caves filled with lava, i saw rivers with lava and water and obsidian, really cool and weird fountains like in my screenshot. though im not strictly against it , it was rather refreshing.
luxore is an interesting idea, but it kind of breaks the immersion when you have just randomly lit up areas everywhere.
as mentioned i like the texture pack except lapis lazuli, is a bit weird to see a blue block like that. but thats just my opinion ^^
perhaps you could also implement a function to press ctrl and click on an item to move it automatically in the inventory when using chests for example? but thats just a minor point. just like sprinting, maybe, maybe not ^^

all in all its a great subgame, just obviously needs work with the smoothness of things. thats the major point here, atm it feels a bit like playing on a laggy server. otherwise good job.
also, which mapgen would you recommend?

i think v5 or v7 are the best. probably v7 for this subgame.sorry if it's laggy, i'll replace the mob system sooo...

performances are not as bad as it could be... with all max shders and filter i have 40 fps with a new rain mod. that should be a good start.

Another bug:
Items keep chasing you forever. If you stand close to an item, wait for the item magnet to activate, then walk away quickly before the item reaches you. If you keep walking, the item chases you and almost never stops.

@azekill_DIABLO i have made a game inspired by VoxBox called voxel_blox, like voxbox it is copy and pasted mods because i cant code yet, only change values, i would provide a download link but i dont know how.

@azekill_DIABLO i would love to work together with you but as i said i can only change values in code, not make entire lines of code, so the only thing i could really help with would be changing textures in files (using texturepacks) and finding good mods, but if you want i will try to help any way i possibly can, and maybe even be able to learn a little bit of coding from you.
