Will the bones appear after death of player/mob?Now it becomes is more realistic

silly question but will the bones keep your inventory after you die or is it lost forever

Why don't you use minetest.override_item()?
he/him; Codeberg; GitHub; ContentDB; public personal TODO list; "DS" is preferred (but often too short)

It's not your fault, @Christian9: use mod.conf.
@Chibi ghost: pick the folder in the mod folder, that's the real mod.

right issues I got the game to load with the mod but I have invisible bones I tried placing them
no joy I even reloaded my test game with damage and committed suicide still invisible and after investigation where my bones are it's solid mass but and the item label is there so I'm out of ideas

I tried the mod and i'm having the same problem as chibi ghost. i downloaded and extracted the zip file and placed the folder 'bones_model' into my minetest mods folder. when i die there is the correct collisionbox at the position for where the bones should be, but the model/texture is not showing. i examined the init.lua for this mod and found that the mesh parameter refers to "bones_model_bones.obj" . But, i do not see this OBJ file in the bones_model in the models folder or any folders anywhere. All i see is the file "bones_model_bones.mtl". Is minetest able to read MTL files?

No it is not, but I will fix it soon.

Well, stupid me deleted the bones .blend so I will be making a new bones model so it may take a few more minutes
