5000?!! That's really too much, considering gold is quite hard to find unless you're that kind of people who spend most of time playing Minetest because they don't have anything else to do and won't mind playing for more than 3 hours.

We still have real life, some players need to go to work and some players are still schooling.

I don't know the schooling and holiday periods of others but my little brother in primary school year 6 (elementary school 6th grade) at here having class from 7:30AM to 3:30PM on most of the days, and add to 5:30PM on certain days for mandatory club activities, with at least 2 subjects' homeworks and at least 5 pages on each subject to do every schoolday after school time.

There's holidays here for 2 weeks to the end of May because it's the starting of fasting month for us but he'll need to go for mandatory "preparatory classes" from 7:30AM to 1:30PM for 1 week in the holiday, as their preparation for their first national exam.

I feel you. I've also tried to cut down trees from a forest and taking some flowers but most of the time, it is inside eddd's protection. Once I get some tree I plant the sapling inside my own area so I don't need to find trees in forest and get knocked down with "This area is owned by eddd" anymore.

And here I thought it's normal that eddd's protection is everywhere, and just noticed eddd's prot is also beside my house, so I had to expand my house upwards instead. (I'm that kind of person who would not try to contact other player to ask for their land).

The shop I'm building was supposedly built right in front of my house (so it's easy to restock later, the building process started before the new /home is implemented) but since there's also eddd's prot there, I had to build it to the right of eddd's prot. Plus, eddd did not build anything on those claimed areas yet so my building is not "attached to other player's building" (one of the don'ts on the server).

I also saw eddd's protection at the unfinished road to certain players house, most probably they don't have enough prot block when building it hence unprotected and eddd just went ahead and put their protection, so the road can't be finished by the real player who is building it (or maybe the real player is trying hard to mine enough gold to pay for the ransom before continue building the road).

But all in all, "unprotected builds are fair game" so I can't say anything if other player claim the area I'm building on if I didn't protect it first. Sad but true.

Post the coords of any 'eddded' land and IOKA will remove it (as long as you want to build there and IOKA has the time)

You guys are so funny. Don't servers usually go down for a bit for upgrades and such? Well normally not us. I do all my work on the "dev" server and copy the stuff over to be available at restart which usually keeps our downtime to a couple of seconds. Last night we were a victom of a typo in my build script that broke it. When rebuilding tthe sever with the latest Minetest code... the script built and installed a regular Minetest client. Not the minetestserver, but a client lol. Naturally that didn't go over well and we were down until I figure out what happened and rebuilt the server really fast.
I can't take credit for the chests. That''s a preview of what's new in Minetest. It's the new and possibly not completed chest style. Expect it to change some (or a lot) in the near future.

Hey everyone! sorry for being mean. lol .
i know most of you are new to the server. so ill post here on forum.(spread the word on the server as well)
Im giving away most of the land i have not built on. if you see me on server, let me know what piece of land you want and ill give it to you(including the pro block) but please dont get greedy like some people that want tons of plots of land. ill be giving away max 2 plots per player. love you guys! :D
