[Mod] Cars [0.1.0] [cars]

Add relatively simple car to the game.

Suitable for survival server - relatively lightweight. Defined craft. limited use.
Used car model from here

Dependencies: default, asphalt?

Oh, i forgot that you need asphalt mod to actually craft car. Must add alternate recipe...

To get oil you need to dig well/bore. It may also appear in shafts.

I not too proud with it's code right now - i wanted to make logic more straightforward, than minetest_game carts mod, but i guess i failed at that.

It is buggy in some ways. You can even fly in it in certain conditions. But i think it adds more to the fun :)

Yes, for some reason i skipped it (Maybe because cars not looked too serious on screenshoot. Or i didn't believed that cars with "physical = true" will work ok)
Must agree - it is working well and it's movement code is much shorter.
Your idea is little different, more like from bots, and mine is more like of carts.

Well, small details are important - like how often car will stuck, is it killable, does it run out of gas, what speed limit it have, even how it looks and what color it have...

car are nearly never stuck on flat and hills. the screenies are outdated. the car gets back in your inventory if you punch it. it can roll infinitly. the speed limit and acceleration is defined in the code.

Somewhere in the future, somebody could setup a "Rally server" with all the different car mods in one place :)

I want to use the car. You could install on Just Test vehicle mash or still easy one - cars (so name of a mod).

Motion of the car is weird. It moves to random side, it turns in random side on collision of blocks by itself. I even don`t require drive the car. But i don`t like the car doesn`t drop after death. Can you fix it, please?

I wanted to add "azewhell" mod, but any more car mods on Just Test will be too much.
I don't want car to drop after death and you don't need that.
Use Shift/Sneak + Click to collect car. (Or build garage for it.)
