Minetest 0.4.16 has been tagged.

Builds will be pushed on Github and Google Play Store soon.

Minetest 0.4.16 is a release that includes many improvements. Nice work guys! Keep it alive! In the next release I want a Minetest_Game completely new and optimized. I have the feeling that many bugs derive from MTG and I do not think I miss much :D

Have fun with Minetest 0.4.16. Builds will also be available shortly on the official website ^__^

I saw a build of 0.4.16 in the Ubuntu Stable PPA this evening/

Thanks to the programmers for the new features. Shading/Fog for far away trees looks really good.

Is there a changelog on the developer wiki for MinetestGame, too?

Hello,

Nice to see a new release , congratulations to the devs !

I see for the win32 release there are 2 version, one compilled with MinGW and one with MSCV , is there a difference in term of performance or stability or chunk loading time between the 2 ?

not much, MSVC might be a bit faster in some cases, but it likely doesn't matter much

Well if you have a 64-bit system then you might want to get the 64-bit version and as there is no win64 msvc build using MinGW might be the best option. Do note I haven't carried out benchmarks or anything.

This is stranger. I've never seen the "sneak glitch" as a mistake. I thought the character was scaling.
