A VPN is a Virtual Private Network. It's a way to evade ip bans. ;)

Yeah, basically he can't get banned. Usually when people ban IP's you can't get into the server with your IP anymore (And anyone else in the house playing minetest on that server with also get banned). You can reset your IP however (I don't know how lol and don't want to). Another way to get IP is go to a cafe or restaurant with free wifi.
Now I wouldn't suggest getting a VPN at all....

The only people who use VPNs with minetest are those who can't behave themselves on servers and want to wreak the server. Don't join that stereotype Baggins.

I could see us using VPN at our house, since we have so many computers, but it really isn't necessary unless you have a small business. Or are up to something. O.--

FYI, I'm not back yet, just happen to have working internet for probably 5 minutes.
Seriously guys, that is a lot of stuff... And reading through it, a lot of it was just very short one-liners, sometimes even just random characters and question marks. Stuff like this would be more suited for IRC, Discord, or even PMs. So, a couple (uh, like, 2) directed comments.
