I read 5 pages of forum chatting trying to find the cause of the crashes and now the server being completely down.

Any chance we flip the switch of silliness off and find out what is going on here? :P

The server is acting very much like it did in June. ExeterDad thinks he needs to blow out the database again, and some other technical stuff that is totally over my head. He probably won't be able to address it until tonight, and the server will have to be down for about 30 minutes or so while he is working on it. We try to make sure the server is always up and available so players do not have interupted gameplay, but it's unavoidable this time and we apologize in advance.

In the meantime, thanks for your patience if the server experiences unexpected crashes during the day.

The server is shut down atm while the database cleanup is running. I did announce in game, micah saw!
It will be up soon. I can't hurry any faster then it takes to run the cleanup :)

On topic. Server seemed fine when I got back on it for a while, no crashes for me, whatever Edad did seems to have worked. Nice job and congrats! :) Maybe I will get encouraged enough to build something now.

until it heals, I'm not able to use my left hand, I want to avoid the possibility of stiches.

I will still be on to moderate the server, but will be slower to respond to pm's and problems :P

I know someone who had a sliver go straight through his finger when he was handling some wood. Hope your finger gets better soon!
