When we first opened the server we had bones enabled. Players complained a bunch and we disabled them.

With bones disabled, there's nothing to lose when playing other then re spawning at a different spot. There's no more danger :/ As Kibbie pointed out. With bones enabled, it makes carrying a stack of gold a bit more stressful and exciting :D

Well you still have bags. What's stored in them stays in them. Only whats in your main inventory would get transferred to bones.

Idea #1
Go to a giant grassy area in the daytime. Then kill every cow in sight. They will drop leather.
Idea #2
Make a giant pen then breed a ton of cows (Wheat and maybe barley). After the calves grow up kill them. Collect the leather.

a.Watch for Lone Wolf collecting leather in grassy field.
b. Kill him before he get's back to town.
c. Sit on his bones defending them.
d.Keep the leather.

Now if we could just find some more pups...is there some kind of trick to it? I have found over a hundred nyans, with other players and on my own, and not a SINGLE PUP. I know they aren't supposed to be easy to find, but sheesh... what am I missing?

The pups were added after the server had been public for some time, so the pups will only be found in areas generated after they were added. I think that's why they are harder to find. I think you have to either go way out to find an unexplored area, or dig deep. :/
