[subgame]Noob Academy[noob_academy]

by BBmine » Post

Hello, this is the exact mods I use on my Noob Academy server. All you have to do is create a world with this subgame :). This overrides some default mods with my (or others') customizations.

Download:
GitLab: https://gitlab.com/BBmine/noob_academy

License: WTFPL (Do what you want to public license)

This is now a subgame.

Too hard.... Always adding/removing mods. Would be easier to just click on the link I have there.

Is there a reason in particular you call it Noob Academy? Also might I recommend mesecons, pipeworks and roads? Overall though I think you have a very nice setup, thank you for sharing it :)

Because the server's purpose is to train noobs like you. :D I'll think about those other mods, and I was thinking of adding mesecons and pipeworks.

The description for your contentdb submission doesn't describe this very well, and you're missing a screenshot. Is this a tutorial? What makes it different to tutorial game?

Also, is this of a reasonable level of completeness and bugfreeness that it's playable by actual end users?

Why are you saying this uses WTFPL for license when at a quick glance it clearly uses mods from MTG that are released under LGPL 2.1 or MIT?

Come to think of it, this isn't exactly complete. And last I checked, it's playable, but not the way I really want it to be.

Is there a special way I'm supposed to license subgames?

License it under the biggest license, so in this case it should be LGPLv2.1+. If there were any gpl mods, you should put gpl
