Smoke greneades must not be laggy ..... Because if the particles will cause lagg to the player of course many of users will dislike it for Tactics time......
It must be only Blindy Without lag .......
iF Multiple Cloud textures will cause lag so Use one hudge large texture .....
Try to find any solution to make the particles Not laggy
Make it Cloudy like this
If it has multiple colors this could be better ( red / blue / green / white / Pink )...... For game Fun :D

Could Pistols be better if they have an Right-mouse click to Get Pistol texture in this Position to can Snipe ?
A red dot or a Pistol hand looking texture who appear at screen to can Snipe and shoot more better ?
or some red Dots Scopes who could be found in chests so In craft guide player could add Red DOT scope to gun to can Shoot better using Hand Red Dot texture who can appear at screen by right-mouse-click

Could it be better if Pistols Got an Lazer Sight who could be found in chests ?
So in Night Its difficult to shoot Targets because most of players dont use An hight Magma to see in darkness and Blue Skin color Makes Shooting more difficult ( at darkness )
So if Its possible to add an lazer texture who can only appear in darkness ( In Night time )
This could help players to shoot During night using Pistol gun or any different gun ..... ( For Not very away targets )

Is there a way to legitimately switch teams, like when a new game starts (or to somehow give up "team wishes")? I was playing CTF with my brother, and wanted us to be in the same team, however, the game often wouldn't let me. Your team switch prevention is actually really good.

That's a very simple and efficient idea. Then there's no need for particles at all, since particles are bad for FPS anyway. The opacity of the smoke hud should be directly proportional to the player's proximity to the blast. I think it could be better if theres a med kits in this server, items that heal a player by 5 or 10 HP. But you should make medikit a rare items, and I would like if the items exist in 3 types, the small med kit, med kit, and large med kit, which the large med kit heals more than others.

They may not be looking at the blast point though. I can code it to check for that though. Just takes a little research. I mentioned the problem in case someone here had dealt with it before

If Sreen gets Covered with Smoke HUD this will make the view Impossible ..... If the choosen colors are 100% White ( if White color dont let you see what enside ) .....
The view must be difficult to the player and not impossible.....
If The Person who throw the smoke greneade ( who Throws it ) get 45% Covered screen and the Ennemie who gets into the area gets 56% Covered screen This could be better........
And if An Red member of red team throw an smoke greneade the Smoke HUD will takes RED color this could be More Cool
And the same if An Blue throw it : it will take Blue Color..
So the red person will do camouflage with the red COLOR of Smoke :D
Same if An Blue Throw it :DDD
So Balance :D And helpful to the fighter
Ennemie must try to go out of smoke area to save himself

In case anyone doesn't realize, guns can be made better by increasing the speed at which the bullets fly.

You try to Run to Different directions to Prevent Bullets But the fighter can move too and shoot so easy
But if the bullets are more faster than your movements ... you will get killed so easy if the player is an perfect sniper .......
So Pistol / Normal Shotgun must keep the same speed
The normal Speed of bullets is the best ..... Because It gives chance to the Fighter+Victim in same time
But if new guns get added OF COURSE speed must be Different between the types of guns
i Think Rifle Bullets should be faster
As real life Rifle has fast bullets
And Real life shotgun Shoots Bullets to multiple different directions .... But in CTF its similar to Rifle.....

Player could use This item to see Ennemie From away : Screen Will get zoomed With Zoom Texture at screen to Can see Away-distances
