I have noticed this, off-and-on, for over a year now. An exhorbitant number of users log in, one right after the other, very quickly, all of them in Sam skins, having an upper-case first letter in their name and three digits on the end. They wander around, randomly and mostly near spawn, attempting to pick at things that humans probably wouldn't pick at (protected stuff). They usually come on around 11 AM GMT.

SaKeL, if I were you, I'd see if they were all coming from the same IP address or a group of IP addresses and would add those IP addresses to my IP-ban list, but that's just a suggestion.

That won't work because the ips are spoofed. Typng a keyword for interaction and changing that keyword evey few days, or preventing names ending in 3 numbers.

I'm sure whoever is using bot client is connecting from the same IP - virtual or not. Maybe i'm wrong but will check that.

You could make spawn be radioactive, so it kills anyone who stays for too long. That might kill some of them.

I have a couple of o-orks working at glacial spawn. They seem to be killing them off very well there.

I have banned/kicked maybe 100 of them today but always another one connects right after that with always different IP. They are doing the same repetitive tasks and dont respond on chat conversation.

It just made more sense to make it look more yellow since the recipe is Mese block surrounded by stone, so the block you get back is according to that. You can still use the protection logo if you don't like it.

The bots have moved to Hometown now :) if you check the minetest servers list the bots are also on many other servers. I will setup some counter measures so this is not going to repeat often.
