I've been playing MineClone2 since it's a familiar game loop and it's been pretty enjoyable

Miner_48er seems to want people to search in this box for a long time... I think he succeeded, even though it's a smallish box :)

CD player:
Of course, thanks to a Luacontroller, the controls all work (firmware here)...
...but you didn't think I'd stop there, did you? Nope, it actually plays CDs too. Video here, but you'll have to turn your volume way up since the microphone on my phone sucks. The displays are red in the video since I hadn't changed the color yet.
The mod to connect Luacontrollers to SCSI devices is here, but please don't install it on any servers as doing so is more than enough to let your players wipe your hard drive. Consider it a singleplayer-only mod, I guess :P

Reinvidicative platform: we are not chickens! :-D
I always wondered why chickens look like ducks in Minecraft.

Nice to see the ducks running around. Can they swim as well?runs wrote: Reinvidicative platform: we are not chickens! :-D
I'm slightly reluctant of ducks recently. The ones on the not so simple server try to kill poor players all the time :-) Normal ducks ought to be much more friendly.

They do, with Mobs Redo can float. I am awaiting some promising new API mobs mod to release it properly. Meanwhile, I am still working on new cute animals.Sokomine wrote:Nice to see the ducks running around. Can they swim as well?runs wrote: Reinvidicative platform: we are not chickens! :-D

Big Land
A world built on a helicoid. It has a single, continuous surface equal to about sixty times the normal minetest map. This is the Ringworld of minetest -- you'll never run out of space. On most of the map, you'd be hard-pressed to tell that you're not on a flat world.
Occasionally, you find a patch of running water at the incline. The oceans have to be shallow, for the same reason they have to be shallow on Ringworld, but humans generally only use the top of any ocean.
Toward the center, though, the slope tends toward infinity, and things get weird. If you like mountain climbing, this spindle is sixty kilometers high.

Re: Big Land
Notable achievement, possibly the most effective use of the Great Cube of Minetest so far.
Albeit I love climbing, nevertheless this time I'll skip the challenge 8DToward the center, though, the slope tends toward infinity, and things get weird. If you like mountain climbing, this spindle is sixty kilometers high.
