WasteLands: Survival (Minetest 5.3.x)
This game concept is one that spawns you in a world that's a complete wasteland. You have to collect trees and other things while trying not to be eaten by mobs. Your goal is to create an area sustainable with everything that you need including different machinery and foods. A quest system would need to be worked out though.
I've posted this here because no work has been started yet and am requesting people's suggestions on mods to be added to this game.

What kind of wasteland are we talking about here? After test running your code, I see that it is meant for 0.5.*, correct?

Correct since we are using Melterns in the game. This game is supposed to place you in a barren wasteland where you have to fight to survive. I'm wanting to implement a quest like system also. This game will be more tech based.

I think the closes would be a mix of all:)

We need some help with the inventory. I've got the majority of it done but am wanting to remove the crafting tab from creative but to be able to keep the survival inventory.

In the 'sfinv' mod in init.lua coment out lines 7 through 11 and change line 4 to:

Suggestions :
-1 Rewards/Achievements (example : when first harvest of wheat and cotton, a Farmer NPC appears to help.

This is not a fork of the original wastelands this is a new game.
interesting ideas but I think this is more of just live and survive, tho you will find ways to get grass and such, but its not easy as in npcs spawning and all, i love the DNA idea I think we could use it.

Our development has shrank so we're doing some work on it but it's super slow. We definitely need help with it...

We've got some models done for the mobs for WLS. But they aren't animated due to lack of help.
