"Failed to download" (mod_name), Browse Online Content

I disabled my firewall completely to be sure it wasn't a stray rule. Not sure where to go from here, is there a more verbose error message somewhere?

Correct.

But I just realized in testing that it's two specific mods that won't download.
Wielded Light
and Showbones
Edit: PixelPerfection, Emote, Craft guide plus, also

There may be others if I managed to get two in a row on my first try.

Mine clone however does download and install correctly.

Try increasing the time out

curl_file_download_timeout 600000

Did that thanks, same error. I noticed that if I fail a download and then start a game I get a more verbose error message.

SSL connect error response code 302 on pixel perfection for example.

Sidenote: It would be super handy if the mod browser linked to contend db or something.

I am trying to install the Mesecons and WorldEdit mods through the game and it is returning the code in the terminal:

"2019-12-24 19:36:50: ERROR[AsyncWorker-0]: https://content.minetest.net/packages/J ... /download/ not found (Timeout was reached) (response code 300)
2019-12-24 19:36:50: ERROR[AsyncWorker-0]: downloading "https://content.minetest.net/packages/J ... /download/" failed"

I was able to install Mobs Redo and other mods, though. I tried to redefine the timeout in the settingstype file in the builtin directory to include curl_file_download_timeout init 600000 to no avail. Am I trying to change the wrong setting?

Do you have a (safe) internet connection? Is there no sites as content.minetest.net or github.com blocked?

I have checked the link of the download and got the working page

And I have by "curl_file_download_timeout" the "300000" value

If that doesnt work, please try to update (/get a newer version) your minetest

I have the newest stable version of Minetest, 5.1.0. I also have a stable internet connection with no firewalls or content filters in place.
