Would you like having massive servers with unlimited player slots?

What does "player slot" mean? Inventory slots? Technic machine slots? ...
Huh, why am I still using Minetest 4.x?

I assume that this needs massive code changes because MT performs not well with more than 20-30 players even on high-end hardware.

Isn't that a built in settings problem, like many of them ... transfer rat 40, and all max 400 seams like an max limit to 10 IF 40 would be transferred. And yes, the 20 is also to feel at Pandorabox ... but before cry for core changes, we should proof why and where that "limitation" is coming from - so change the right things.
Server: still up, see some gamer - but there is a new 1st important thread "climate change" for me. Something I know since 1992 - had seen the melting glacier in Switzerland.
