Isn't the main functionality of zombies to scare and hunt humans? If they could eat deer meat, there'd be no need for that (and too much logic involved for zombies). I don't like "undead" mobs as such. But such a hunting functionality could be great for occasional hunter mobs that might roam the forrests, hunting deers and trapping wolves.

Gundul, wildlife animals seem unkillable. Did you try redownloading 0.10.3? I double checked, the package seems fine.

i think they do that already, the deers. Wolves attack if you get too near.

i am no zombie expert :) It was just an idea because that time the server only holded three mobs: zombies, deers
and wolves. Now with petz mod running on it there are other possibilities.

My wildlife mod is outdated, I only fixed the dying when being spawned problem, but forgot that you changed the hp system. death now when hp <= 0

Same problem and still no diamond
The wildlife mod will be fixed today and for killing zombies just follow
Lone_wolf's advice: hit them with any sword on their head.

You can't find diamond blocks afaik. Meseblocks you can.

I already added more diamonds to mapgen, now between -712 and -1024.
Also I added recipes with mese instead diamonds to fun_tools.

ZombieTest added to Jungle Universe !

Added ZombieTest Server to Jungle Universe:

That means my three servers Jungle, Lilly in the Valley and ZombieTest are connected to
one big universe. Exchange stuff between the servers using the gui in your inventory, send
private messages by using the /pm command.
Chat is also connected by irc mod

CalebJ, the you cant kill zombies like normal mobs, you have to be within a couple blocks of a zombie, have a stone sword or better, and use only full swings, one direct hit on their noggin (the top of their head) is an instant kill, no other way to dmg them.

The Stix, thanks for the help. I already know that, and confirmed my test based on this information. If you don't believe me, test it yourself - with a mese sword. I have done exactly this already, unless 2 blocks is not close enough. :)
I await Gundul to look into it. Most likely, it is something internal from the new updates. Maybe I'm just a n00b, but runs isn't.

It is like Stix said. No problem with the zombies even after last petz update to fix bumping dead bodies.
Maybe a wooden sword does not work. Never tried it for myself. But your mese sword will kill them.
Full punch means one strong strike with your sword while haircross on zombies head. Then wait until sword is back.
Do not left click repeatedly and fast. Have a short break after each strike.
It is a bit tricky in the beginning, and many people get a bit nervous beeing too near to a zombie :D

EDIT: It works! But ... just like CTF, it is not a thing for noobs. It takes some practice, I see. Hopefully runs can do it now, with that info. :)
