I just want to say... yes: it can be possible, that I know some voters from any server. Consequently I also can say thats even possible I know if or how influences are presented. Thusly this possible influences would be okay. But in this amount... seriously? Thats creepy unfair for other nominees this way (if its more than copy paste).
But please do not be upset by my words... I do not see that it is forbidden anywhere.....
I just wanted to butt in this.

It's very difficult to vote. I don't think I want to create a preference list - after all what makes MT great is its diversity. Thus, all games, mods and servers contribute and have their purpose. If this thread can make people aware of what exists, that's fine. But without voters saying what they like so much in each candidate, it probably doesn't help that much.

When the majority of people voting are clearly coming from a single source and/or copying and their entries that doesn't make this a very trustworthy representation of the community's opinions. Somebody must be very desperate for the same server, mod, and game combination to win.

I think if there is to be any type of awards then it should be widely publicized and officially promoted on the main minetest.net site. All votes need to be anonymous with IP addresses recorded to prevent cheating.
