Very nice! However, the steam engine is pretty big. Perhaps something smaller might work better in the MT world? I'm still hoping for a manually powered hand-lever draisine handcar.

Just amazing models and nice textures :) Particularly, I like the blue wagon with the colorful 'Mese Trans' inscription.

I made my own variant of the japanese bullet train some time ago and forgot to post it...

And added a draisine and a minecart for advtrains, different to the default one, including 3 versions: empty, loaded and an engine powered one

Yes! Finally! Thank you :-) Now I only have to convince CalebJ that draisines are a must have on Tunneler's Abyss...:-)

moretrains is a modpack and this train is in a new mod inside that pack. So to update you can git pull the latest changes and then enable the moretrains_basic mod from the world configuration menu.

Wow. Is a fluid tank possible? Fluid lib or tubelib2 support. Techage has an oil cart but an oil tanker train would be awesome.

That would be something that needs to be implemented in advtrains itself. I'll write that down.

I had (what I thought was) a great idea the other day. You know how those long-distance trains like the Empire Builder Amtrak in the USA or The Canadian VIA Rail in Canada have those "observation" or "panoramic" carriages with the roof and most of the sides being entirely glass? It would be really cool to be able to hook a passenger carriage like that up to my trains. The windows in the existing carriages are so small, it's difficult to watch the scenery go by.

If I had the time, I'd even build one of these myself to add to the collection. I'd first need to learn to do that, though.

Yes, that's sadly a problem of the trains. The subway wagon is a bit better than a normal train wagon, but still...it's difficult to take a look outside. A cart with more glass would be helpful. Perhaps with a slightly more detailled interior design. I feel a bit unconftable with the subway trains and their missing floor.

It might also be of intrest to have some carts that are smaller than normal-sized wagons (mine railway sized?). Or something like the wagons of the very first trains (very open), the 3rd class wagons of the Eagle train.

A cable car/aerial tram would also be nice and require some wagons with a better view.

As to the nice "older" wagons in the normal advtrains mod: Perhaps it could help to place the player closer to the side so that looking out would be possible the same way as in the detailled steam engine.

I have a question, when you have time, can you create a diesel locomotive for passengers wagons and modern passengers wagons please?

The moretrains modpack contains an updated Japanese bullet train, including locomotive and passenger carriages. They're very much modern. Unfortunately, you're limited to that style for now, if you're looking for something post-WWII, and it doesn't include sound.

I have been (very slowly) trying to learn Lua in my spare time, and eventually hope to contribute to this mod with more styles of locomotives, carriages, and hauling cars. I think my first ones will be Amtrak, followed by VIA Rail, and then others as suits my fancy (e.g., Korail, CN, Norfolk Southern, Eurostar, or NSB).
