Implementing it that way is just a gross PR coup. If you want to distribute books, use a document format.

What a dumb idea, why could not have they just used plain text files, that nearly every computer (even a calculator or DIGITAL "camera") would be able to read them

I guess to approach general players too: buildings aren't bad, you can explore a 3D space. Also I'm pretty sure a plain text version of them exists too. Their Web site has a shitload of Javascript scripts and is so reliant on them that even if I allow them to run, the main page won't load!!! The only thing i can see is their crappy loading animation.
