[BUG REPORT] Because of other people moaning

I have seen in a couple of other threads moaning about core dev time investment (which is beyond me for something that is free) but have not followed through to see how often, who does what and in what order. I have better things to do with my time than chase after the devs (patience). I read the sticky/pinned thread about reporting bugs but also read somewhere that they can be posted here. As a result I am not sure where a reported bug is seen first, so just in case and to maybe save a little time for the devs, I'll post here as well as at Github.

It's pretty simple and guess anyone can try and reproduce to confirm. I have tried with 3 different keyboards.

Start a new game and type any seed number. try to add the number '7'
I am sure that my 3 keyboards don't all have issues with just the touch number 7

If you use the number block to enter the number then there is nothing Minetest can do about this. It’s an Irrlicht issue and is likely never being fixed because Irrlicht is virtually dead.
