This is a game that offers a whole new experience and is different from all other MT games.

Currently there are multiple biomes including, but not limited to: snow plains, forest, plains, swamp, sulfur geysers, and jungle.

When I started writing this game I was planning for it to be an improved, rewritten version of MTG that would use the same names and be 99% compatible with mods for MTG, I changed my mind later and thought that I will write a game that will be unique and not be a copy of Minetest Game with some mods added.

It's been more than one year since I worked on this game, I thought it was lost until I found it recently on a compact disc I had. I will try to update the game and possibly port it to MT 5.

0.5.0 is out!!! Added many blocks from every metal out there (gold, iron, copper, etc.), added strawberries, ore lumps and remade some textures!!!

hi MHL . the textures look kind of grainy. it reminds me of what they did around 2002. they wanted textures to have close up detail. so they combined with a noisemap to make a "Detail texture" . this worked back then. but its a long tim e t o now.

im thinking about downloading the mod. but I think it is not at a good color depth. people would be more impressed if it was more colorful .

the textures don't actually look like this, it looks like this in the picture because I decreased the color palette. In reality, they look like this:

sorry but those pictures are very small and hard to see on my screen. so I cant comment on them. but I don't think you can deceive me here. we can all see the screenshot you posted. so we know what it looks like.

They are small because those are the textures of the nodes themselves. The image I uploaded had a decreased color depth, here's another screenshot:

That's the problem . they're small.

those pictures take up maybe a quarter of an inch of square inches on my monitor. and I have a 27" monitor. how am I supposed to deal with this in the game? we didn't make this game for mice to play it . people are bigger. and so should your textures be .

as for that screenshot, I am not very impressed. you have simply doubled down on your efforts to hide dithering. but I can see it easily. you're facing an enemy that is a lot more competent than you are. so maybe you should be introspective about this. it's not too late to apologize to everyone here. nobody will resent you for it

just gave it a whirl , looks ok to me on a high end gaming laptop . yeah it looks retro . but that is part of the charm .
just 2 warning errors on screen that i noted .

This game is in an early WiP stage. It currently has no sounds, and playing it in survival mode makes little sense.

I am aware of the errors, that's because the textures for those two nodes are not ready yet.

Those are 16x16 textures, the same size that Minetest Game and most other games for Minetest use. In-game, they take up a whole node, they're not as small as displayed here on the MT Forums.

If, for some reason, you don't believe me, feel free to try out the game yourself.

As I said earlier, the image had a reduced color palette to take up less space, it does not look like that in-game.
Why would I want to put so much effort into hiding problems with a Minetest game?
It's not like I make any money from it...

Alright, sorry for making you think that the screen shot was a completely unedited in-game image. It wasn't.

Again, feel free to download the game and see what it really looks like for yourself, just please remember that this game is work-in-progress, and not ready to be played in survival.
