Better sprite handling

Could we handle sprites for objects in MT like in old Doom/Wolfenstein (with exception for signs and torches)? I mean player/monster/other object (like pickaxe) is really flat when looked from angle and it should always face camera like in those games (except as I said torches and signs, cause it would look silly when always facing camera).

The client's camera... I don't like this idea, you can't see where a player/mob is looking. I want 3D meshes >:(

I agree with Calinou there should be blender made meshes for players !!

That kinda reminds me of the dungeon_master sprite that was yaw modulated in 0.3.1
