For the second time, I ask for ''bucket'' privs. I need to use the bucket for mining safeties with sneak elevators, and for fountains/streams/a moat around the fortress.

You can remove lava replacing it by torches (fire is turned off).

This is easier and faster method than using buckets, because with bucket you can remove only sources.

I know this, but I sometimes when mining and making sneak elevators straight down, I may die and/or fall into a place that I can not escape, so I have to be warped out and then I have to somehow go back into the shaft and fix it safely. This is usually only done by dumping Water into the shaft, waiting 5 minutes orso, then taking the source block and riding the water down to where you can latch onto the side and start repairing it.
The only other alternative is to press 'shift' every 1.5 seconds, taking about 2 seconds per 4 blocks, much slower than water-riding.
Also I want to make a fountain in the center of the Archadian Imperial Fortress (my fortress), and a moat of lava around the city wall.
Just sayin'...

Put ladders (horizontal) on bottom of elevator.

Ok , I understood what you're trying to do : "safe deep digging" ... so, having bucket make the task easier.

But sadly, as a knife may help you to cut your steak it make easy to kill someone ...

I ve done this restriction because between "make easy deep dig" and "make harder to grief" I ve chosen "making harder to grief" ..

I hope you understand my choice ...

NB : about making fountain in "Archadian Imperial Fortress" you can do it ... if it is in an protected area that you are allowed to build.

7th in command acsess to cobble cannot mine from company's mines but scouts out good areas to mine.2
privs are
1. mining
2. scouting
3. stone store managing
4. owns all locked chests that hold supplies for company. (Must be on all the time that way other people can add to the chests or you can give them supplies)unless we can get the chest with key mod added.
